Hardest thing I’ve ever done. I completed the Yeti 100-mile ultramarathon (virtual 2020 Covid edition) less than two months after failing in my first attempt. On September 25, 2020, I dropped out of the Yeti 100 ultramarathon in Damascus, VA due to a hip injury at mile 71. On November 20, 2020 I ran a self-supported Yeti 100 virtual in and around Waveny Park in New Canaan, CT. I reinjured my lower back and hips at mile 50. The swollen and bruised ankles and hips were a bonus. I battled and finished. Absolutely grateful for the opportunity to earn my 1st ultra belt buckle.
